ONLINE admission portal to JR. KG. and SR. KG. 2025 - 2026
Dear parents and students,
At the outset, I congratulate you dear students for your success in the exam and promotion to the next year.
As we wrap the academic year 2024-2025, I reflect on the incredible journey we have undertaken together at SXBA. This year has been a testament to our theme of ‘learning to lead and build bridges.’ It has been a year filled with hectic activities of learning, initiatives, talent exploration, and numerous accolades.
Being part of the SXBA family has been a wonderful experience. This is a place brimming with potential and dreams, where we give wings to our students' aspirations. Our teachers have taken numerous initiatives to bring out the best in our students, and our website has been regularly updated with the significant events that have taken place throughout the year. I encourage everyone to keep visiting our website to stay informed about the wonderful things happening at our school.
This has been an action-packed year with back-to-back activities, sports, fests, celebrations, studies, and examinations. At SXBA, we strive to provide a wholesome experience for our students, ensuring their growth and development. Academics remain at the heart of our academy, and our teachers have employed various methods to make learning both interesting and effective. Parents have witnessed the importance we place on ensuring students complete their studies and written work. Some teachers have reported a marked improvement in the quality of answers given by students in their final exams.
To enhance our curricular transactions, we revamped all classrooms with new computers. Learning Python, the language of AI, has become so naturalized that it is no longer a novelty at our academy. The joint annual day, where primary and secondary students came together, showcased our strength in unity and was a perfect example of meticulous planning and execution.
One of my desires has always been to make the most of our limited space to provide sporting facilities for our students. It brings me great joy to share that our school now boasts a well-equipped turf and a basketball court. It is heartwarming to see students from junior KG to seniors enjoying themselves and playing to their hearts' content. I thank the BAPSA and couple of alumni for partnering with the school in this project with some financial assistance.
The academic year 2025-2026 will also see some new initiatives and growth. We plan to revitalize our house system and classrooms. Traditionally, we have deducted points for unacceptable behaviors as a preventive and corrective measure. However, this new system focuses on incentivizing positive behavior, reinforcing it through rewards. You will find a brief introduction to this initiative in the magazine.
The improvements made in our school are a testament to our path of growth and development. Despite challenges, the management is committed to putting St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy on a growth trajectory. We are dedicated to upgrading our facilities and programs to provide the best for our students. I am confident that parents will continue to support the Academy's growth and upgradation initiatives.
Dear student,
Develop your talents to the maximum. Face challenges head-on. Without stretching yourself, you will never know what you are capable of. Value yourself and others. Embrace each individual with respect and dignity. Your mettle as a student of the Academy is measured by the difference you make in the lives of others. Strive to be the best in the world, but more importantly, be the best for the world. Then you are truly a worthy boy of the Academy.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the staff, parents, and students for their unwavering support and dedication. Together, we have created a nurturing environment centered around the well-being and development of our students. This supportive atmosphere has allowed each Academite to thrive academically, socially, and personally. May this culture of competence and growth continue to define us in the coming years too.
Jai Hind. Jai Maharashtra.
Warm regards,
Fr. (Dr.) Arul John Bosco, SJ
