With over 20 years of teaching experience. I’ve learned that understanding and compassion are at the heart of effective education. It is a profound and humbling responsibility to be entrusted with the lives, growth and emotional wellbeing of children. Their love and trust has helped me grow both personally and professionally. 

 As a mother of a child with a learning disability and ADHD, I’ve gained a deeper insight into the challenges faced by children with special needs. This dual role has strengthened my ability to support diverse learners in the classroom. My journey has taught me that every child deserves patience, empathy and a safe space to thrive and be understood. 

As a dedicated pre-school educator with seven years of experience I am passionate about nurturing young minds and instilling in them a lifelong love for learning. I believe that the early years of a child’s life are critical in shaping their cognitive, emotional and social development. 

Through a thoughtful, play based approach and nurturing classroom environment, I strive to create meaningful learning experiences that spark curiosity, encourage creativity and promote confidence in each child. My goal is not only to teach but also to inspire and help children develop into compassionate and capable learners. 

In my 17 years within the walls of St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy I have learned the importance of continuous professional development, the art of classroom management and the invaluable relation built with both students and colleagues all contributing to a rich and dynamic teaching career. It has reinforced my belief that teaching is a deeply fulfilling profession, marked by the rewarding experience of helping students discover their capabilities and cultivate a love for learning and I am committed to continuing this journey. 

Hello! I’m a passionate class teacher of the Pre-Primary. I believe in a nurturing environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth, my approach focuses on hands on learning experiences, promoting exploration and discovery, I prioritize language development through engaging strategies like picture talks, storytelling, rhymes, art and action songs by making learning fun and interactive. I aim to create a love for learning that stays with students. I’m committed to working with students, parents and colleagues to create a supportive community where every child feels valued, challenged and inspired to reach their full potential.
