With an enduring passion for Art and Craft, I’ve proudly served as an Art Teacher at SXBA for over 33 years. My journey has been one of inspiring young minds, transforming blank canvases into powerful expressions of imagination. My artistic pursuits extend beyond the classroom—I've performed on All India Radio, Doordarshan, seminars, workshops on Art and also graced the stage in numerous dance and music shows.

My strength lies in igniting creativity: I believe in planting a thought, nurturing it with care, and watching my students bloom into expressive creators. Their joyful, beautiful work is my greatest reward.

For 27 wonderful years at SXBA, I have taught Marathi not just as a language but as a living, breathing art. My classroom has been a space of imagination, storytelling, and joy. Trained in Bharatanatyam and under Shiamak Davar, dance has enriched my teaching, blending tradition with creativity. I’ve judged competitions, mentored students, and made learning vibrant through art, movement, and emotion. Travel and painting inspire my lessons, adding color and depth. SXBA has been more than a workplace—it’s been my second home and my life’s greatest honor.

Since 2011, I have had the privilege of being a part of St. Xavier's Boys' Academy, where my passion for education has only grown stronger. I delight in helping students discover their voice and confidence during elocution. Holding a Master's degree in History, I have been fortunate enough to share my knowledge with enthusiastic young minds.

I am deeply indebted to St. Xavier's Boys' Academy, which has been instrumental in shaping my teaching style and nurturing my growth as a confident educator. The institute has not only helped me develop professionally but also personally.

I also have had the opportunity to support students through emotionally challenging times. Witnessing them heal, grow, and flourish has been a truly humbling experience, and I feel grateful to have played a small part in their lives.

13 years of Teaching- Learning Experience at St. Xavier's Boys' Academy.

As a dedicated and compassionate teacher, I prioritize personalized care and attention for each student. I believe every child is unique, with their own strengths, challenges, and learning styles. By building strong relationships and tailoring my approach to individual needs, I create a nurturing environment that fosters academic growth, confidence, and emotional well-being. My goal is to empower students to reach their full potential, celebrating their successes and supporting them through challenges. With empathy, patience, and enthusiasm, I strive to make a positive impact on young minds, helping them grow into capable, curious, and compassionate individuals.

My journey as a teacher at St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy began in June 2016. Teaching fills me with hope, as each child has the potential to make a positive difference in the world. 

I believe my strong content knowledge and experience teaching 10th grade learners led to my appointment as an Examiner for the Maharashtra SSC Examination from March 2019. The excellent rapport I have with my students, parents and co-teachers attests to my strong communication skills. In order to be a successful 21st-century teacher, I constantly stay updated with developments in educational pedagogy and upskill myself through online resources.

I’m Anandprakash Hiralal Sharma, a passionate educator with over 8 enriching years of experience at St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy. In my roles as a teacher, Scout Master, and Sports Instructor, I believe that education must go beyond textbooks — it should nurture confident, disciplined, and creative individuals. As a motivational speaker, journalist, writer, and content creator, I connect with students and audiences in meaningful and impactful ways. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or behind a microphone or camera, my mission is to inspire, lead, and ignite potential. With sincerity and a smile, I strive every day to be the mentor I once looked up to.

I am a passionate Hindi teacher who believes in making learning joyful, expressive, and meaningful. With a strong command over language and an artistic approach to teaching, I bring energy and creativity into the classroom. I am also a skilled dancer and use the art of movement to add cultural depth to student experiences. My love for drama helps me direct powerful performances that build confidence and teamwork among students. Whether it’s teaching grammar or guiding a stage play, I put my heart into everything I do. I aim to inspire, empower, and bring out the best in every learner.

I am Mr. Nepolian Almeida, a proud teacher at St. Xavier’s Boys’ Academy, where I teach Marathi and Health & Physical Education (HPE). For me, teaching is more than delivering lessons — it’s about connecting with students, understanding their strengths, and helping them grow both inside and outside the classroom. I believe in creating a positive and active learning space where every child feels seen, heard, and encouraged. Through language and physical education, I aim to nurture confidence, discipline, and a deep respect for values that shape strong individuals. 

Hello! I'm Valentina Saldanha, a dedicated English and Social Studies teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds. With an MA in History and a Bachelor's degree in Education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom. My teaching philosophy is centered around creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth. I'm committed to helping students develop critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills. I'm thrilled to be a part of this educational community and look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of my students.

I hold an M.A. in English Literature and a B.Ed degree. Passionate about language and learning, I currently teach English and Social Studies at St. Xavier's Boys’ Academy. With a fresh perspective and dedication, I strive to make my classes engaging and meaningful, encouraging my students to think critically and communicate confidently. Though I’m early in my teaching journey, I bring energy, creativity, and a strong commitment to nurturing young minds.

I am Rebecca Lopes, a CTET-qualified educator with an MSc and B.Ed , and three years of teaching experience. I have recently joined St. Xavier's Boys' Academy (SXBA). Passionate about teaching, I strive to help students understand the logic behind mathematical concepts, not just the answers. I am committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. My strengths include curriculum development, classroom management, and student mentorship. I believe in nurturing curiosity, clarity, and confidence in every learner. At SXBA, I aim to contribute positively to student success and the school’s commitment to academic excellence.

I believe in creating a learning environment that is concept-based, interactive, and student-friendly. My approach to teaching Science and Mathematics focuses on making difficult concepts easier to understand through real-life connections, visual explanations, and activity-based methods.

I aim to build a strong foundation in both subjects while encouraging students to think critically, ask questions, and enjoy the process of learning. For me, teaching is not just about delivering content—it's about inspiring curiosity and confidence in every learner.

As a Science Lab Assistant at SXBA, I'm passionate about supporting students in hands-on learning experiences. With 2 years of experience, I've developed strong skills in lab management, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance. I've successfully assisted in conducting experiments, preparing lab materials, and ensuring a safe learning environment. My strengths lie in attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication. I look forward to continuing my role in supporting students' scientific exploration and discovery.
